A Unique Photography Collaboration in Fife
On Saturday the 15th of November, 2025, I had the pleasure of working on a slightly different - and very special - photography job, capturing a baby massage class in Glenrothes. This was a collaborative project with my sister-in-law Jennifer, who runs the class, and it resulted in a really lovely experience for everyone involved.
A Unique Photography & Baby Class Experience
Together, we created a bespoke offering for parents attending the class. Families could book onto Jennifer’s usual block of baby massage sessions, with the option to add a photography package for a small additional fee.
This meant I could attend the class, quietly documenting everything as it naturally unfolded - the learning, the bonding, and those gentle, calm moments between parents and their babies. After the class, I also set up a styled mini photoshoot, complete with backdrop and lighting, allowing each family to take home a set of beautifully lit portraits of their little one.
Natural Moments & Timeless Details
As well as providing images for the families, I captured a wide range of photographs for Jennifer to use in her ongoing marketing and promotion, helping showcase what the class is really like for future parents.
The images themselves are some of my favourites - a mixture of happy faces, tender interactions, and tiny details like little hands and feet, which are always incredibly special to photograph and often become the images parents treasure the most.
Growing Experience with Newborn & Family Photography
I’ve photographed newborns before and have another newborn shoot booked for March 2026, so opportunities like this are invaluable for continuing to build experience working with parents and young children. Every baby is different, and understanding how to create a calm, comfortable environment is absolutely key to getting natural, relaxed images.

It was genuinely lovely to collaborate with Jennifer on this project, and it’s something I’d love to explore more in the future.
